Decades Apart Productions is a video production company founded in 2013 by RJ Cusyk, an independent filmmaker who has loved the craft from an early age. From the start, we set out with a clear mission: creating narrative shorts and feature-length films that attempt to push the limits of what can be accomplished within the realm of low-budget filmmaking.
Our first narrative short was the 2012 short film Vanished and was followed up shortly by the 2013 short film Invisibile Diary of a Disabled Man . After the production of Invisible Diary we began branching out and working with small businesses on local projects and filming for events and corporate entities. Our commitment to excellence and attention to detail quickly garnered a reputation for producing cinematic, high-quality videos at a low cost that resonated with audiences.
As the years passed, we expanded our reach, taking on a variety of commercial, documentary, alongside several feature-length films. This growth was fueled by a dedication to pushing creative boundaries and adopting cutting-edge technologies to enhance our work. By 2020, Decades Apart Productions had already begun collaborating with national brands and creative agencies, solidifying our position in the industry.
