Decades Apart Productions is a video production company founded in 2013 by independent filmmaker RJ Cusyk. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: to see how much can be accomplished with limited resources while never losing sight of the story.
Our first narrative short, Vanished, was completed in 2012, followed by Invisible Diary of a Disabled Man in 2013. After Invisible Diary, we began expanding beyond narrative filmmaking, working with small businesses, local organizations, and event and corporate clients.
Over the years, that work has grown to include commercials, documentaries, corporate video, and four feature-length films. We've worked with clients ranging from local businesses to national brands and creative agencies, while continuing to pursue our own independent projects.
At the heart of Decades Apart Productions is a love of filmmaking. Whether we're producing a commercial for a business, documenting someone's story, or making a feature film on an independent budget, we approach every project with the same goal: make the best film we can with the resources available.
